Categories As travel advisors it is our responsibility to provide our client's with exemplary customer service. Some of the ways in which we do that is by continuous research, building relationships with fellow travel advisors and training to become as well versed in travel as possible.

It is important that we are knowledgeable in all areas of travel. We travel the world to get a better understanding of cities, states and countries. This is important to us so that when we book trips for our clients we are able to tailor these amazing vacations to fit the clients specific needs. In addition, because of our personal knowledge on specific places we are able to suggest detailed itineraries that best fits those particular needs.

One of the most recent places we had the opportunity to visit to gain more perspective on, as well as specialize in, was Hawaii. Overlooking the cobalt-blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, The Westin Maui Resort and Spa on the legendary Ka'anapali Beach is the perfect island resort for an aspiring Hawaiian vacation. With its beachfront setting, magnificent aquatic playground with five pools and tropical gardens, this Maui hotel appeals to honeymooners and families alike. From uplifting renewal at the Heavenly Spa to the world-class dining in oceanfront restaurants, cultural fun, golfing and water-sport adventures-the choices are endless. Maui has a sophisticated down home appeal. With its rolling hills, farms, vineyards and is home to remote and pristine areas. There are two other islands that make up Maui which are Molokai which means "Hawaiian by Nature and Lanai which is Hawaiian for "Most Enticing Island".

The Westin Maui Resort and Spa is where we spent 5 nights and 6 days. All of our time in Maui was spent partnering with other travel agents, marketing directors, sales representatives, executives, directors in the travel industry; as well as touring the island and neighboring places. We engaged in meaningful conversations, toured neighboring towns, forged lasting working relationships, gained priceless information regarding travel and became Hawaiian Specialists. We learned how to maximize the clients experience, studied regulations and compliance, were taught how to make lei's and had the opportunity to do site inspections.

A few of the tours we took were the Maui Pineapple Tour, the Lavender Tour and the Hawaii Sea Spirits Organic Farm and Distillery Tour. On the Maui Pineapple Tour which is situated in the historic plantation town of Hali'imaile, this unique tour offered us an inside look at Maui's past and present pineapple cultivation. Firstly, we toured the pineapple fields, the shipping and packing factory, tasted a variety of Maui Gold handpicked pineapples, and received a free boxed "airport-ready" pineapple to take home. Secondly, on the Lavender Tour we viewed the farm which is located 4000 feet on the slopes of Haleakala crater. We learned that the sustainable aloha is a grassroots movement that is driven by their belief that Aloha connects all living things and when acting within its value center, the result is a sustainable and beneficial way that creates possibilities and opportunities for everyone. By preserving and perpetuating their unconditional connection between human and nature our behavior and actions are guided nurture a healthy planet and healthy living for generations to come. Lastly,  we saw breathtaking panoramic views from the 80 acre organic farm in upcountry on the slopes of Haleakala on the Distillery Tour. Our personal tour included wine tasting and lunch on this picturesque property. We even spotted a newlywed couple barefoot and holding hands while also enjoying the breathtaking grounds. It was a such a beautiful and humbling experience.

One of my absolute favorite nights in Maui was when we participated in a luau. As soon as we entered the grounds we were "lei'd" and given a tropical Hawaiian drink. As we made our way to our table we got a glimpse of a roasted pig and endless tables of food and decadent desserts. All the while, recording artist Uluwehi Guerrero performed and a fire dance ensued. We laughed, danced and sang the night away; it was a night to remember. The amount of knowledge, understanding and education, of this beautiful island, we acquired was priceless. Assimilating to the Hawaiian cultural was effortless. The people are warm, friendly and have a great understanding of how nature and humanity share a a bond. Most importantly, if your interested in visiting this amazing island we're proud to announce that we are now Hawaii'an Specialists. Contact us to get you to this remote land so that you can start living.
